Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation

Overview
Taylor English’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group advises clients on the complete range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including the tax provisions which provide the muscle to enforce the Affordable Care Act. We counsel plan sponsors, shareholders, fiduciaries and lenders regarding plan design, implementation, operation and compliance, and also guide them through complex IRS and DOL audits and correction programs. We represent compensation committees and individual executives with respect to the negotiation and preparation of executive employment, retention, severance and other agreements.
Our group works closely with the Corporate and Business practice group in addressing employee benefit plan and executive compensation issues inherent in mergers, acquisitions and other business transactions, and we also work closely with the Employment and Labor Relations group on tax and ERISA related matters.
