Kenneth Bush is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. He is a licensed attorney and a registered patent attorney with the US Patent & Trademark Office. He has more than 25 years of intellectual property law experience across numerous industries and technologies, spanning a wide range of intellectual property practice areas including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, acquisitions, franchising and litigation, and has served as a patent expert in patent infringement lawsuits. Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Bush owned and managed an intellectual property boutique law firm for 20 years.

Mr. Bush currently focuses on patent and trademark prosecution matters. When needed, however, he assists his clients in the enforcement of their intellectual property against infringers as well as defending his clients against allegations of infringement from others.

Mr. Bush is an inventor, an entrepreneur, and a business owner. He holds several patents and understands the innovation process from different perspectives. He enjoys working with all types of clients, from individual inventors and entrepreneurs having a single product or service, to small and large businesses having a variety of products and services. He values working with clients to identify important aspects of their businesses and innovations, and to educate them on the applicable intellectual property protections available and the costs/benefits associated therewith, thereby helping his clients to efficiently use their resources to optimize their protections and achieve their business goals.

Outside of work, Mr. Bush enjoys spending time with family and friends, and volunteering with various outreach ministries.
