Jessica D. Ehrlich is a partner in the Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. Combining nearly 20 years of experience as a Florida attorney and over a decade in investment banking and business, Ms. Ehrlich is known for her practical, strategic, and results-driven approach to the varied challenges her clients face.
Ms. Ehrlich regularly advises financial institutions on both litigation and transactional matters, and has extensive experience handling complex finance transactions, foreclosures, workouts, and loan restructurings. On the real estate side, Ms. Ehrlich represents clients in commercial office sales, leasing, and land use issues. She has appeared in every federal and bankruptcy court in Florida and has represented clients in a variety of additional legal matters, including business contracts, and family and estate matters.
Before joining Taylor English, Ms. Ehrlich spent over a decade working in Fortune 500 companies in Manhattan and in federal and state government. In Washington, D.C., she served as Legislative Counsel for two members of Congress on both the U.S. House Financial Services Committee and the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means and was appointed Chief of Staff of the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking. Her regulatory policy experience includes work with both state and federal government agencies and trade associations.Ms. Ehrlich utilizes her experience and relationships in advising her corporate clients in regulatory compliance and government investigation matters.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Ehrlich has been a legal and government policy analyst on national and international media since 2014, appearing regularly on COURT TV, FOX News, FOX Business, MSNBC, Sky News, Sky News Arabia, The Times of London, CNBC Europe, NewsNation, Newsmax, Scripps News, and Florida This Week on PBS.
Ms. Ehrlich earned her B.A. from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and interned for the Chief Judge of the US District Court, Middle District of Florida.
