Emily R. Wisniewski

Emily Wisniewski is an associate in Taylor English’s Corporate Department, where she focuses on counseling entrepreneurs and business owners from a wide variety of industries on business and tax issues. Ms. Wisniewski has experience working with clients on business formation and startup matters, contracts and regulatory matters, and everyday operations.

Ms. Wisniewski has previously worked with clients to advise and help them form tax-exempt and 501(c)(3) organizations. She has also guided clients through mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to her corporate and business practice, Ms. Wisniewski has also helped businesses and individuals protect their trademarks, copyrights, trade dress, and trade secrets. Ms. Wisniewski has assisted clients with brand development, clearance and risk analysis for trademark applications, trademark applications, copyright registration applications, and filings for maintenance of registrations. She has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting trademark licenses as well as consent and co-existence agreements. Ms. Wisniewski has handled matters involving trade secrets, including the negotiation and preparation of nondisclosure, licensing, employer, and vendor agreements to control the use and disclosure of trade secrets.

Prior to joining Taylor English, Ms. Wisniewski served as an associate at a Michigan-based full-service law firm. While in law school, Ms. Wisniewski served as an intern for in-house counsel at a hobby products distributor and at a real estate title company.
