Chandra Winter is an attorney with the firm’s Corporate Department. She focuses her practice on emerging companies and entrepreneurial businesses in an array of technology, intellectual property, and corporate matters. Ms. Winter also has extensive experience representing clients in business litigation matters.
Ms. Winter’s principal areas of concentration include general corporate, commercial contracts, commercial and business matters, public and private financings, and mergers and acquisitions on both the buy and sell side. She counsels her clients on daily operating issues including employment, and privacy concerns and represents them through capital raises, both equity and debt, and provides timely and actionable counsel and guidance to companies and their executives.
While attending the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, Ms. Winter served as a legal intern for The Port of Virginia, where she supported the General Counsel in the wide implementation of newly promulgated federal regulations (SOLAS VGM). She also completed a legal internship with the labor and employment legal group at 21st Century Fox.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Winter served in the United States Coast Guard for more than five years serving as both onboard cutters as a Student Engineer and ashore as a Marine Inspector.
