Katie Heron is an attorney with the firm’s Corporate and Entertainment, Sports and Media Department. Ms. Heron focuses her practice on navigating entertainment clients through the legal side of the entertainment business. She has experience in drafting various entertainment contracts consisting of artist agreements, talent agreements, mechanical licenses, and synchronization licenses. She is equally skilled in incorporating companies, trademark registrations, drafting complaints, and motions.
Ms. Heron combines her passion for the arts with her legal knowledge to effectively assist her clients through the legal side of entertainment. Ms. Heron joins Taylor English from a renowned, Atlanta-based entertainment law firm.
As a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies. In 2017, Katie graduated from Emory University School of Law. During her third year at Emory, Katie served as the Vice President of the Communications and Media Law Society and as a group Facilitator for Business Communication Strategy at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. As a Facilitator, Katie served as a group leader and helped students enhance their public speaking and presentation skills.
