Profile

Hannah Clapp is an attorney with the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and white collar crime involving both healthcare fraud and environmental crimes. Ms. Clapp is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including motions practice, the discovery process, and proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Clapp has represented pharmacies, laboratories, and physician groups in False Claims Act civil and criminal government investigations under both the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. She is highly experienced in the e-Discovery process, from start to finish, and uses this experience to bring value to her clients to ultimately reach favorable outcomes in both government investigations and in her civil practice. She is committed to achieving client goals while maintaining civility and professionalism.

Ms. Clapp has a deep understanding of the Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and other federal environmental statutes, as well as Georgia laws on nuisance, inverse condemnation, and tortious interference with contracts.

While attending Georgia State University College of Law, Ms. Clapp served as a law clerk for Taylor English, where she assisted in a variety of environmental litigation and healthcare fraud cases. During this time, she gained experience in environmental crime investigations involving the Clean Air Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act. She also served as a graduate research assistant for Georgia State University’s Office of Legal Affairs and a legal extern for the Georgia State Senate while in law school.

Outside of the office, Ms. Clapp enjoys hiking and backpacking with her two dogs, Leo and Bear.
