Christopher Collado is an attorney with the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Mr. Collado focuses his practice on personal injury litigation and insurance coverage matters.
Mr. Collado has experience defending national insurance companies in bodily injury and property damage defense matters. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Collado also has knowledge in depositions, alternative dispute resolution and private negotiation. He has worked with clients to secure pre-litigation settlements and liability releases in all types of personal liability matters. Mr. Collado has defended clients from bodily injury lawsuits, insurance subrogation claims and workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Collado served as general counsel for Valeris Medical, Inc. In this role, he managed all legal relationships with company employees, representatives, contractors and consultants regarding intellectual property, non-compete, non-disclosure and compensation agreements. During his time with Valeris Medical, Mr. Collado conducted the company’s corporate conversion of a LLC into a C-Corp, including reworking all articles, bylaws and operational documents.
While attending law school, Mr. Collado served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Edgar Ennis of the Superior Court of Bibb County. Outside of the office, he enjoys whitewater kayaking, competitive swimming and tennis.
