Broderick Harrell has represented clients in complex, catastrophic injury and wrongful death civil litigation matters for twenty years. He has experience representing healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation and architectural design professionals in construction matters. Mr. Harrell also has extensive experience defending premises liability claims involving allegations of sexual assault, rape, child molestation, negligent security and negligent maintenance.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Harrell practiced litigation as Senior Counsel at an Atlanta law firm which centered on Insurance, Workers' Compensation, Motor Vehicle defense, and Immigration matters. While there, he defended Travelers Insurance Company customers in general liability, trucking, commercial and private motor vehicle litigation throughout the State of Georgia.
As Partner at an Atlanta based civil litigation defense firm which focused on Appellate Law, Commercial Litigation, Medical Malpractice Defense and Construction Litigation, Mr. Harrell also previously defended private practice healthcare providers, hospitals, commercial general liability, and motor carrier clients in Georgia State, Superior and Federal courts. He defended medical malpractice, negligent security, catastrophic trucking accident, wrongful death and other high exposure litigation matters. He also served as the co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and as co-chair of the firm’s Trucking/Transportation Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Harrell is a frequent speaker on healthcare risk management, premises liability, and trial preparation issues. He obtained his law degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his BA degree from Howard University.
