Tom Wamsley practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation, professional liability, products liability and toxic torts. Mr. Wamsley has more than 20 years of experience in litigation representing clients across the country. He is currently actively engaged for Georgia-Pacific in asbestos litigation. Mr. Wamsley’s practice also includes representing franchise and restaurant companies and he serves as outside general counsel for a number of middle-market companies. His work with middle-market companies involves controlling and managing risk and legal spend, and also working closely with management to develop business and marketing strategies.
Mr. Wamsley has served on the managing boards of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers, the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society Advisory Committee. He also is active in the community, serving or having served on the managing boards of the Trinity School Student Parent Association, the Peachtree Presbyterian Church Community Outreach Committee, the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, the Atlanta Junior Golf Association, the Buckhead Christian Ministry, the Friends of the First Tee of East Lake and the Atlanta Youth Academy Foundation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wamsley was a partner in several businesses, including franchise, golf course construction and development, and consumer products companies. Mr. Wamsley was a partner in Acceleration Equity Partners, a merchant banking firm, and he continues to provide integrated capital, strategic and operating resources to emerging growth companies in partnership with financial and operating partners. He is currently chief operating officer of Analytic Solutions LLC, which provides customer relationship management systems, including analytical and transactional modules, to all tiers of the beverage alcohol industry and to other commercial clients. He also is a partner in CSC Ecommerce, which markets and operates an SaaS e-Commerce solution.
