Tae-Seung Lee’s experience with business operations, corporate finance, and technology allows him to properly counsel his clients on mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and early stage companies. Mr. Lee serves his clients by communicating crisply, thinking analytically, and providing long-term strategic objectives.

Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Lee was a Junior Sales Trader at Morgan Stanley, where he handled multiple high-volume accounts and helped hedge funds in New York, London, and Sydney invest in the Northeast Asian market.

In addition to his background in finance, Mr. Lee served as an Interpretation Officer in the military. As a lieutenant with top-secret security clearance to assist four-star generals, he was the official interpreter in Korea-US Joint Staff Security Talks on North Korean nuclear issues. Mr. Lee helped Admiral Michael G. Mullen, then the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his delegation to understand complex ideas in simpler terms and assisted them in implementing decision points. For his contributions, Mr. Lee received The Army Commendation Medal from the U.S. Department of the Army.

Mr. Lee is a 2003 graduate of Duke University and received his Juris Doctorate from Emory School of Law in 2015. He has lived in Korea, Morocco, Senegal, Belgium, Romania, Germany, and France. He is fluent in English and Korean, and proficient in French. Mr. Lee is also an athlete and received his Professional Boxer’s License in 2005.
