Kevin Spainhour brings more than twenty years of health care experience to Taylor English. Mr. Spainhour focuses his practice on the defense of serious and catastrophic medical malpractice and general liability claims. He counsels hospitals, behavioral health professionals and facilities, out-patient surgery centers and physicians across the state of Georgia on risk reduction, quality improvement, and policy development.
Representative of his work, Mr. Spainhour routinely provides his clients with tailored education seminars on current trends and changes in state and federal laws that impact litigation, policy, and health care delivery.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Spainhour served as a cardiac intensive care nurse and Extracorporeal Life Support Specialist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation’s top-ranked pediatric hospitals. He also has experience serving as a firefighter and paramedic with one of the state of Georgia’s busiest fire services. Mr. Spainhour’s extensive healthcare experience allows him to provide unique, real-world insight into the problems faced by today’s health care providers.
Before to joining Taylor English, Mr. Spainhour was a member of an Atlanta law firm specializing in medical malpractice defense, professional liability, construction litigation, general liability defense and pharmacy law and regulation.
