In the real estate industry, he has litigated virtually every type of dispute imaginable. He knows real estate. He is a counselor who investigates, explains, negotiates, litigates, mediates and arbitrates.
Mr. Pendergrast works closely with executives, in-house counsel and environmental managers, consultants and the firm’s real estate and corporate lawyers to help clients address a wide variety of environmental matters involving transactional, advisory, insurance, regulatory, remediation, permitting, compliance, enforcement, brownfields, waste, water, air, wetlands and litigation issues. His environmental practice includes the emerging fields of carbon management and renewable energy.
Mr. Pendergrast has a strong litigation practice, with experience including real estate, title, commercial code, contract, mortgage fraud, insurance coverage, lender liability, franchise, trade secret, restrictive covenant, manufacturing and construction disputes.
