Taylor English has a reputation and experience to provide intellectual property services that are customized specifically to any client’s needs.

Clinton J. King counsels clients in identifying, developing, and protecting their intellectual property portfolio. At Taylor English, Mr. King’s practice encompasses patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution, trade secret protection, and litigation. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications for electrical, mechanical, financial and medical transactions, and computer-related technologies.

Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. King served as a Patent Agent and Summer Associate for Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. He also worked for the United States Patent and Trademark Office on an externship, during which he learned about the patent examination procedure. Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. King’s experience includes several years of engineering and sales account management coupled with an intense 15-month training program in the General Electric Company’s Technical Sales Leadership Program, and completion of Six Sigma Green Belt certification. During this time he worked for and with several Fortune 100 companies in the healthcare equipment, device, imaging, and manufacturing industries. 

Mr. King enjoys traveling, softball, tennis, and trail running (ToughMudder competitor).  However, his greatest passion is coaching his three children in life and in any sport they want to be involved with.
