Amy Oraefo, Of Counsel to Taylor English, has experience in various business and transactional law matters. Prior to opening her own boutique law firm, Ms. Oraefo worked in-house in the Legal Division of the world headquarters of SAS Institute, Inc., a Fortune 100 company in Cary, North Carolina.
Ms. Oraefo focuses on the areas of Corporate, Entertainment, and Intellectual Property Law, and she provides a wide range of transactional law services including contract review, drafting, and negotiation, business entity formation, and legal and business strategy consultation. Ms. Oraefo provides her clients with quality and efficient legal and consulting services in order to adequately prepare each client to succeed within one of their greatest assets—their business.
Ms. Oraefo serves as legal counsel for new and existing businesses, independent musicians, producers, songwriters, independent film directors, and athletes. In addition to serving as counsel for a variety of business and entertainment law matters, Ms. Oraefo files and maintains federal trademark and copyright applications for her clients. Furthermore, Ms. Oraefo drafts, reviews, negotiates, and advises clients on various agreements, including, but not limited to recording agreements, publishing agreements, licensing agreements, management agreements, producer agreements, talent option agreements, consulting agreements, and joint venture agreements.
Ms. Oraefo is passionate about assisting clients in growing and protecting their brand. She is committed to providing high quality legal services, along with educating and empowering her clients so that they can thrive in their respective industries.
