Arthur Sims is a partner in Taylor English’s Corporate Department. Based in both the Miami, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia offices, Mr. Sims focuses his practice on corporate and business matters, entertainment and media, sports, hospitality and recreation, fitness, intellectual property, brand management, product development, and licensing.
 
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Sims served as a sports agent in the National Football League representing first round draft choices and future Hall of Fame Athletes, and as General Counsel for the Wright Entertainment Group and uber Manager Johnny Wright, which represented music superstars Backstreet Boys, N Sync, Jonas Brothers, Justin Timberlake, and Brittany Spears.
 
Mr. Sims also served as an adjunct and lecturer at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen School of Hospitality and the Greg Elias Entertainment Management Program, where he was also on the board of advisors. Further, Mr. Sims has lectured on the topic of Sports and Entertainment Law at the University of Florida Law School, Cornell University Law School, FAMU Law School, and has been a contributor on the BBC, WESH NBC News, and TRT World.
 
Mr. Sims previously practiced law with Am Jur top 50 law firms where he provided general counsel services for high-profile clients within the sports, entertainment, and hospitality industries including amusement and theme parks, hotels and resorts, restaurants and bars, professional sports talent, entertainers, fitness companies and influencers, and international A-List celebrities and their related companies.
 
Mr. Sims has negotiated domestic and international multimillion-dollar licensing, distribution, production, personal service and talent agreements, and multimedia agreements for renowned athletes and entertainers, as well as music, film, and television entities, museums, and publishing companies.
 
Mr. Sims has represented clients in India, Belgium, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and throughout the Caribbean.
 
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Sims enjoys staying fit by practicing mixed martial arts, yoga, and running. He has been an international judge in fitness competitions and pageants, including the Olympia and the Miss USA Pageant.
