"Employment Law Compliance," Latin American Chamber of Commerce 2017 Hispanic Business Summit

Glianny Fagundo was a part of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce's Employer Compliance panel at the 2017 Hispanic Business Summit on November 15, 2017. The Employer Compliance panel discussed key information for employers to comply with their obligations regarding Immigration, US DOL, Wage and Hour, EEOC, and OSHA. They focused on various topics including immigration obligations of employers, including form I-9 and the use of E-Verify, visas available to employers to hire foreign workers. They also focused on compliance with USDOL Wage and Hour obligations, obligations under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as well as what to do to avoid discrimination or harassment in the workplace. for more information, please visit the LACC website.
