Construction Executive published Matthew Flower’s article, “EB-5 Investments: An Alternative Source of Real Estate Capital,” in its November issue. The article takes a closer look at non-traditional sources of capital for developers to finance their projects, focusing on the EB-5 program. Mr. Flower explains that the program was created to encourage the flow of capital into the country from foreign investors and to promote the employment of U.S. workers. In addition, he discusses the qualifications participants for the approval of an investment, including reaching the $1 million investment threshold, full-time employment creation for at least 10 U.S. citizens, as well as business entity eligibility.
