Restaurant Startup & Growth magazine featured Alisa Cleek's article titled “Everyone in the Pool – Will We Ever Be Able to Include Back-of-the-House Staff in a Tip Pool?” in its September 2017 issue. In her article, Ms. Cleek talks about  U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), on July 20, 2017, announced that the DOL will repeal the 2011 regulations that prohibited restaurants that tipped employees at least the federal minimum wage from including back-of-house employees in a tip pool.
