Taylor English Duma LLP Expands Employment, Labor & Immigration Practice Group with Counsel Amy Burton Loggins

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that they have expanded their Employment, Labor & Immigration practice group with Counsel Amy Burton Loggins Prior to joining Taylor English, Loggins served for more than eight years as AVP – Corporate Counsel – Employment for Crawford & Company where she was responsible for handling all labor and employment issues. She developed and presented training modules for management-level employees on human resources and labor and employment law topics, as well as developed and implemented Crawford’s global social media policy and training program. Loggins has extensive experience advising and counseling senior-level business clients and human resources team members on day-to-day employee issues such as hiring, managing performance, discipline, terminations of employment, as well as developing policies and procedures including employee handbooks and FMLA/LOA, independent contractor and disability accommodation processes; drafting employment, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements; and conducting discrimination and harassment investigations. Loggins is a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Law & Judiciary Committee, American Association of Affirmative Action, Society for Human Resource Management and State Bar of Georgia. She is a graduate of the Leadership DeKalb Class of 2008, a former president of the Junior League of DeKalb County, as well as an honoree in Who’s Who in American Law for 2011-2012. She was recognized by the Association of Corporate Counsel with the 2010 Jonathan A. Silber Award for Outstanding for individual excellence, leadership and major contributions. Loggins also was recently named a “Top 40 Under 40” alumnus by the University of Georgia (UGA) Alumni Association. She is a “Double Dawg” graduate of the UGA, having received both her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University.
