Taylor English Adds Seasoned Corporate Attorney Katherine Koops
Taylor English is pleased to announce the addition of Katherine M. Koops to the firm’s Corporate and Business practice. Formerly with Bryan Cave LLP, Ms. Koops brings more than 25 years of experience representing financial institutions and other businesses in banking, corporate and securities matters.

Ms. Koops regularly counsels clients on public offerings and private placements of debt and equity, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, SEC and bank regulatory reporting and compliance matters, and a variety of general corporate and banking matters.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Koops has served as an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law, teaching the Deal Skills class and coaching the Emory Law Transactional Negotiation Competition Team. She is co-chair of the Business Law Education Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
Ms. Koops received her undergraduate degree from Hope College and her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
