Taylor English Attorney Named Among World's Leading Patent Lawyers by Intellectual Asset Management

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that Jeffrey R. Kuester has been recognized by Intellectual Asset Management among its IAM Patent 1000 list of leading patent attorneys for 2016. The World’s Leading Patent Professionals is considered to be the world’s most extensive guide to private practice patent professionals and firms. The list, which is available at www.iam-magazine.com/patent1000, recognizes individuals and firms that play a strategic role in developing and implementing patent solutions locally and internationally. This list marks the third time that Mr. Kuester has received this distinguished honor.

At Taylor English, Mr. Kuester chairs the patent practice and co-chairs the intellectual property group. He has extensive experience counseling businesses on their trademarks, copyrights and other intellectual property issues, including litigation, preparation and counseling.

Mr. Kuester currently serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for intellectual property matters and as vice-chair of the Intellectual Property Advisory Board at Georgia State University College of Law. In addition, he is an adjunct professor and organizer of the Corporate IP Institute at GSU College of Law. 

Mr. Kuester is a member of the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia, where he has chaired the Technology Advisory Committee. Additionally, he has chaired both the Intellectual Property Law and Technology Law Sections at the State Bar of Georgia. He is also a member of the American Bar Association Intellectual Property Law section and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).

Kuester earned his undergraduate degree from George Institute of Technology and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law.
