Taylor English's Jeffrey Kuester Named Among Leading Patent Lawyers by Intellectual Asset Management

Taylor English is pleased to announce that Jeffrey R. Kuester has, once again, been recognized by Intellectual Asset Management on its IAM Patent 1000 list for 2015 as one of the leading patent attorneys in the world. “The World’s Leading Patent Professionals is considered to be the world’s most extensive guide to leading private practice patent professionals and firms. The list, which is available at http://www.iam-magazine.com/patent1000/, recognizes individuals and firms who play a strategic role in developing and implementing patent solutions, locally and internationally.

Mr. Kuester is chair of the patent practice and co-chair of the intellectual property group for Taylor English, handling all types of intellectual property issues, including litigation, preparation and counseling. As a registered patent attorney, he also has extensive trademark and copyright experience.

He currently serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for intellectual property matters and as vice-chair of the Intellectual Property Advisory Board at Georgia State University College of Law. In addition, Mr. Kuester is an adjunct professor and organizer of the Corporate IP Institute at GSU School of Law.

Mr. Kuester is a board of governors member of the State Bar of Georgia, where he has served as chair of the Technology Advisory Committee and as member of the Next Generation Courts Commission. Additionally, he has served as chair of both the Intellectual Property Law Section and Technology Law Section at the State Bar of Georgia. He is also a member of the American Bar Association Intellectual Property Law section and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
