Morris O. Little Quoted in Aviation Week
On April 17, 2013, attorney Morris O. Little was quoted in Aviation Week's article "Problems Loom When Lean Operators Take on Leasing Complexities." The article discusses airlines' lack of expertise and infrastructure when leasing and returning equipment, a problem likely to grow as leased aircraft accounts for more of the world's in-service fleet. Little spoke at Aviation Week's MRO Americas Conference in Atlanta and suggested that in order to keep lease-return costs down, companies must make a plan before the asset hits a company's books. In addition, he notes that charters and smaller cargo operators often don't know their fleet's needs early enough and end up making last-minute aircraft requests, leaving little time for planning.
