In its September/October issue, Profiles in Diversity Journal selected Michele Stumpe for inclusion in its 2015 Women Worth Watching. In its 13th year of publication, the Women Worth Watching awards honor female executives for their passion, achievements and the impact their work has on their workplaces and the world. In her profile, Ms. Stumpe discusses the intersection of her legal career and her passion for giving back. She discusses her work with her nonprofit, Children of Conservation, and how she became involved with another nonprofit, The Giving Kitchen. Of balancing her legal work and her passion for primates and the culinary industry, Ms. Stumpe says, “It’s been a lot of work, and long hours, but it’s also been an incredibly fulfilling way to work side by side with folks who were once just clients, but have now become tremendous friends fighting for the greater good.” Ms. Stumpe’s full profile can be viewed online here.
