NCAA Clears the Way for Athletes to Earn Endorsement Money, Atlanta Business Chronicle

The NCAA approved for student-athletes to earn compensation for the use of their likeness, image and name. Bruce Siegal commented on the NCAA’s decision in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s article, “I think it underscores that the NCAA understands not just the importance of the issue, but the urgency to get in front of the issue.” Representative Billy Mitchell plans to continue Georgia’s proposed legislation to follow California’s “Fair Pay to Play” act.
