Love of primates leads to children’s foundation

Atlanta Business Chronicle - by Michelle Montrese Henson Staff Writer Michele Stumpe, a partner and seasoned litigator at Taylor English Duma LLP, had no interest in law school during her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. In fact, it was the furthest thing from her mind. “My boyfriend at the time was thinking about going to law school,” Stumpe recalled of her college years. “I [took the LSAT] because he didn’t want to sit through it by himself, and I ended up doing pretty well on it. I actually did very well on it.” After excelling on the LSAT, Stumpe, a theater major, began to weigh her career options, and livelihood was a key factor.
