September 30, 2013

On September 9, 2013, Taylor English continued the firm’s growth by adding former Georgia-Pacific in-house attorney Jay Patton to the firm’s Litigation practice. Patton was interviewed by Law360 on his arrival to the firm for the article, “Taylor English Nabs Georgia-Pacific In-House Litigation Pro,” published on September 27, 2013. In the article, Patton discusses his prior experience working with outside counsel across the country and his desire to get back in the courtroom in front of a judge and jury as an advocate for his clients. While his resume includes successful defenses of BMW, Porsche and other international companies against consumer complaints related to insurance contracts, car warranties and defective products, Patton spent the past two years at Georgia-Pacific helping the company get its national asbestos litigation under control. For Patton, joining Taylor English was a natural fit because some of his former colleagues are also with the firm. For the full article, please click here.
