"Atlanta Employers Watch NLRB Rulings," Atlanta Business Chronicle

January 31, 2014

On January 31, 2014, the Atlanta Business Chronicle quoted Joseph W. Bryan in the article, “Atlanta Employers Watch NLRB Rulings.” The article discusses recent announcements by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that it would not appeal federal court rulings that keep the NLRB from requiring private employers to display posters informing employees of their right to form a union. While this provides flexibility for many employers, Bryan suggests that some employers and some general counsel have confused that there is a posting requirement for federal contractors – a requirement made by President Barack Obama through an executive order issued in 2009.
