In the Summer 2013 issue, the Harvard Law Bulletin highlights law school alumnus, Michael Trotter for the publication of his book, “Declining Prospects: How Extraordinary Competition and Compensation Are Changing America’s Major Law Firms.” The Bulletin gives a synopsis of the book and quotes Trotter on how “corporate general counsel now serve as the conductors of their own legal orchestras and have gained significant influence over the profession.” In addition, the article mentions Trotter as a frequent speaker on the downfall of Dewey & LeBoeuf in publications such as The New York Times’ DealBook and Bloomberg Businessweek.
