"Taylor English Advises Russian Airline Group on $8B Boeing Deal," Daily Report
In an article published by the Daily Report on August 23, 2016, Robert D. "Bo" Strauss provides insight on the legal counsel that he and Morris O. Little Jr. provided for Russian freight airline consortium, the Volga-Dnepr Group, on the landmark $8 billion deal with Boeing. The deal will make Volga-Dnepr the largest 747-8 operator in the world when all the planes are delivered over the next decade. Mr. Strauss and Mr. Little landed Volga-Dnepr as a client thanks to a recommendation from a New York airline client and the pair’s experience on other purchase agreements with Boeing. Mr. Strauss states that the deal was complex for several reasons due to the size of the purchase. “Boeing is tough to negotiate with,” said Mr. Strauss. “There were a lot of moving parts, and that really matters when it costs several hundred million dollars per plane.” For more information, please visit the Daily Report website.
