"Professional Excellence Honorees: Sticking with It," Daily Report
In an article published on June 23, 2016, by the Daily Report, Michael H. Trotter was highlighted among the publication’s Lifetime Achievement honorees. The annual Lifetime Achievement Award honors 20 attorneys with strong leadership qualities who have left a lasting imprint on the local legal community. Mr. Trotter was recently honored by receipt of the Phoenix Award from the Mayor of Atlanta for his many contributions to improved community services and race relations, and by a proclamation from the City Council for his significant contributions to the local community. His history of community involvement includes serving on the Biracial Committee appointed by the Federal District Court to advise the Atlanta Board of Education on the creation and operation of an integrated school system in the 1970s, and serving as a principal founder of Good Government Atlanta, Research Atlanta and the Atlanta Committee for Public Education.
