Following the death of an underage student, the law states that all bouncers have to be at least 21 years of age, and any “disciplinary action” taken inside the bar must be reported within 45 days to a governmental entity. However, Ms. Stumpe stated that contrary to popular belief, the law does not require bars to provide training to their employees or to have liability insurance.
