Breakfast With His Excellency Mohamed Siad Doualeh, Ambassador of Djibouti
Taylor English has the distinguished honor of hosting the Ambassador of Djibouti, His Excellency Mohamed Siad Doualeh, and formerly invites you to attend a breakfast in his honor at 8:00 am, June 14th at the Atlanta Center for International Arbitration and Mediation at Georgia State University Law School.
Doualeh has been the Djibouti ambassador to the U.S. since December 3, 2015. He is also Djibouti's permanent representative to the United Nations. Prior to his D.C. appointment, Doualeh served as the ambassador to Switzerland in 2006, then as vice president of the U.N. Human Rights Council from 2007-2008, and held the chairmanship of the Intergovernmental Working Group on the effective implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2009-2015.
Djibouti is an African country bordered by Eritrea, Ethopia, and Somalia. Due to its location near the busiest shipping lanes, Djibouti is a burgeoning commercial hub, and the site of various foreign military bases.
