Mark Moeller profiled in Northside Neighbor for Karate-do dojo’s 25th anniversary

Taylor English Duma attorney Mark R. Moeller was profiled for his involvement in, and the celebration of, The Atlanta Traditional Okinawan Karate-do dojo’s 25th anniversary in the Feb. 20, 2013 issue of the Northside Neighbor. Moeller, a sixth-degree black belt and instructor at the dojo, discusses the dojo’s opening in 1987 with a small following of two students. Today, the dojo now has 40 students in its children’s classes and more than 30 in its adult group classes. Moeller “views martial arts as sort of my obligation to give back to the community.” In recognition of his dedication, during the dojo’s 20th anniversary in 2007, Moeller was honored with a proclamation by the city of Sandy Springs for his service to the community through his martial arts instruction.
