"Cardboard Memories," Daily Report

December 8, 2013

For the Daily Report’s weekly “In Recess” column that explores unique hobbies of local attorneys, Joseph English was profiled for his collection of baseball cards in the article, “Cardboard Memories,” that was published on November 1. Mr. English explains that his passion for collecting cards stems from his years as a young boy, collecting multiple cards of players he liked, trading the cards he didn’t like and always trying to find the last card to fill a set. While his interest in collecting dropped off in his mid-thirties, Mr. English picked it back up about two years ago when going through the players’ cards who were with his generation. He doesn’t claim to be a high-end collector, but rather, he uses the hobby as a pressure release from the day-to-day work activities. Daily Report subscribers can read the full article here.
