Cost-Of-Living Adjustments for 2017 to IRS Caps

The IRS in Notice 2016-62 recently announced the Cost-Of-Living Adjustments for 2017 for various caps on benefits. Please click the following link to view Notice 2016-62: One closely watched cap, the cap on employee contributions to 401(k) plans, remains unchanged at $18,000, and another closely watched cap, the cap on “catch up” contributions to 401(k) plans for individuals age 50 and older, also remains unchanged at $6,000.
