POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of general litigation experience to join our Miami office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, torts, and complex civil litigation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of litigation cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and handling discovery.
Prepare for and attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
Conduct client interviews, gather facts, and prepare witnesses for depositions and trials. Draft and argue motions and manage trial preparation.
Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and offering clear guidance.
Assist with business development efforts, including client relationship management and networking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Florida.
3-5 years of general litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to case management and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
