Ronald Gaither is a trial attorney handling matters in all aspects of general litigation. He handles litigation matters ranging from commercial disputes to products liability claims, specifically automotive and motorcycle products litigation related to motorsport activities. In addition to a unique motorsport background, Mr. Gaither also acts as litigation counsel for the Major League Baseball Team – the Atlanta Braves. Mr. Gaither also focuses his practice in the entertainment industry, representing artists and record labels in a myriad of complex transactions. Mr. Gaither has negotiated and drafted performance contracts for Grammy Award – winning artists based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Gaither has a wide range of litigation experience in state and federal court, arbitration and mediation proceedings, and other alternative dispute resolution. He has experience negotiating contracts, preparing corporate formation agreements, and advising clients regarding all aspects of their business. Mr. Gaither enjoys providing legal and business strategies for small start-up companies to large well-established industry leaders.

Mr. Gaither served as a litigation associate with Powell Goldstein, LLP (now Bryan Cave), one of Atlanta’s and Washington D.C.’s most respected law firms. He was also an associate with Greenberg Traurig, LLC, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the United States.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Gaither served as a Federal Law Clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge UW Clemon of the Northern District of Alabama. Mr. Gaither’s experience as a former Federal Law Clerk provides him with unique and practical insight into the judiciary and the courts. Ronald’s experiences afford him with the ability to proactively avoid and solve problems for his clients, and also benefit him during conflict resolution, risk management and negotiations.

Mr. Gaither has also authored a publication for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment Law & Practice; The Chilling Effect of Section 506: The Battle Over Digital Sampling in Rap Music.

Ronald B. Gaither honorably served in the United States Air Force and is a veteran of Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Mr. Gaither is a decorated soldier.

In his spare time, Ronald enjoys racing his high-performance motorcycles at Georgia’s preeminent race track – Road Atlanta and Alabama’s preeminent road course – Barber Motorsport Park.
