Rick Pilch, a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction practice group, has extensive experience in commercial real estate law. Mr. Pilch has represented a broad range of clients in the development, financing, leasing, acquisition and disposition of mixed use, retail, hotel, office and industrial properties throughout the country.
Mr. Pilch’s experience includes working with a Fortune 100 retailer in numerous ground lease/development transactions nationwide, and representing one of the largest developers in the Southeast in mixed use development projects in Georgia and Florida. He has assisted a Fortune 300 manufacturer and its subsidiaries with leasing, disposition and acquisition transactions both in the United States and Canada. Mr. Pilch has also served as lead transactional counsel for an international hotel company. He has closed numerous purchase and sale transactions, including shopping center, distribution center and office building acquisitions and dispositions.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Pilch was a partner at Hartman, Simons, Spielman & Wood, LLP, a nationally recognized commercial real estate firm located in Atlanta. He also worked as a staff attorney for the Eleventh Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals. Before attending law school, Mr. Pilch served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot.
