Mason Wymer works as an associate with Taylor English’s Employment, Labor & Immigration, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution groups. Since joining Taylor | Busch, Mr. Wymer has worked on a wide variety of cases, including non-compete agreements, collections issues, FLSA/employment claims, landlord/tenant disputes and general commercial litigation. Mr. Wymer has also assisted clients with licensing/regulatory issues throughout Georgia.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Wymer represented the Georgia Real Estate Commission, Georgia Real Estate Appraisers’ Board and Georgia Secretary of State’s office as a Special Assistant Attorney General. In this capacity, Mr. Wymer prosecuted numerous regulatory violations and license applications in front of Administrative Law Judges at the Office of State Administrative Hearings. Additionally, Mr. Wymer worked in a small insurance defense firm where he learned a great deal about insurance coverage analysis and insurance agent errors and omissions defense. This experience exposed Mr. Wymer to a diverse range of general tort litigation involving fraud and negligence, as well as sexual harassment, construction defect, contract disputes and personal injury cases.
Mr. Wymer enjoys participating in the Westminster Schools annual fund and alumni functions as well as working with the Georgia Bar Young Lawyer’s Division and the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers. Mr. Wymer lives in the Chastain Park area of Atlanta where he can often be found running or playing golf.
