Marc Taylor is a founding member of Taylor English. In his law practice, Mr. Taylor typically represents management in disputes involving the employer-employee relationship. He has represented employers in federal and state court jurisdictions throughout the United States. Mr. Taylor handles matters ranging from individual and class action discrimination lawsuits to state law defamation and tort claims. He has been a frequent speaker at seminars that focus on topics involving a full range of employment relationship issues.
In addition, Mr. Taylor has successfully represented employers in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the U.S. Department of Labor as well as before various state agencies in more than 30 states. While serving as in-house employment counsel, Mr. Taylor was responsible for investigating and handling all employment-related disputes for Medaphis Corporation (now McKesson Corporation), a company with more than 10,000 employees. In this role, Mr. Taylor developed and implemented nationwide employment law training programs and an ADR program that succeeded in reducing Medaphis’s employment-related lawsuits by 75% over two years.
Before forming Taylor English, Mr. Taylor was at Powell Goldstein, LLP, serving as a partner from 1997 – 2005. He is married and has three children.
