The Lending, Workout & Foreclosure practice group at Taylor English represents national, regional, local and community banks and lending institutions in all manner of actions related to troubled loans. Our team brings legal and business experience gained from years working on workout and restructuring transactions at top national firms and as in-house counsels at some of the country’s largest corporations.
The Resort, Hotel & Hospitality Group of Taylor English is nationally known for its representation of clients involved in the resort, hotel, restaurant, regulated real estate, travel and hospitality industry. Joe English is a member of the firm’s Employment, Labor & Immigration practice group. Mr. English regularly defends employers in employment litigation and arbitration at the administrative, trial and appellate levels, appearing in federal and state courts throughout the country. Mr. English’s litigation practice has included complex class action litigation, ERISA, wage and hour litigation, and the spectrum of employment discrimination and retaliation claims. In addition, he provides day-to-day counseling services to clients on general employment-related matters, including risk management and preventative practices.

Mr. English has several years of experience representing Employment Practices Liability Insurance (“EPLI”) carriers on a national and regional level, coordinating the defense of insured employment-related claims in a cost-effective and efficient manner. He is a frequent speaker on topics related to EPLI and employment law, and has conducted training for underwriters and claims professionals on employment-related legal issues.

Prior to joining Taylor English in 2006, Mr. English practiced law for nearly 15 years with a Fisher & Phillips, LLP, a national labor and employment law firm. Mr. English has achieved an “AV” peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating awarded.
