Our team brings legal and business experience gained from years working on workout and restructuring transactions at top national firms and as in-house counsels at some of the country’s largest corporations.
The Resort, Hotel & Hospitality Group of Taylor English is nationally known for its representation of clients involved in the resort, hotel, restaurant, regulated real estate, travel and hospitality industry. Jeff Kuntz is a member of Taylor English’s Intellectual Property Practice where he assists in advising clients and securing rights in patent prosecution, litigation, and licensing. Mr. Kuntz represents clients in multiple industries ranging from packaging and water control to IT and consumer products. Mr. Kuntz also assists in drafting and negotiating software development service agreements and in other IT-related matters.

Mr. Kuntz graduated from Georgia State University College of Law cum laude in May 2010, where he was a member of Georgia State University’s Law Review, Moot Court Board, and Bleckley Inn of Court, Georgia State University’s section of the American Inns of Court. He received multiple awards for classroom excellence and litigation performance. Mr. Kuntz also participated in Georgia State University’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, providing tax representation to indigent clients.

Previously, Mr. Kuntz has industry experience as an IT consultant in the telecommunications industry and as a consumer products engineer. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating magna cum laude in 2006, and he is a State of Georgia certified Engineer-In-Training for General Engineering.
