Gregory A. Sanderson

Greg Sanderson provides legal services to businesses as general corporate counsel and special tax counsel. Mr. Sanderson’s practice is focused on structuring business transactions to minimize taxation. Mr. Sanderson also represents clients before the IRS National Office to obtain tax rulings, and defends clients before the IRS in tax controversies. Much of his practice is in the area of alternative energy development, where he helps clients qualify for tax credits and incentives. These include incentives for alcohol fuels, biodiesel, coal fuels, wind energy, landfill methane and biomass energy from wood and crop residues.

Prior to joining Taylor English in December 2008, Mr. Sanderson practiced with the Atlanta tax law firm of Sanderson & Rotroff, LLP from May 1999 through November 2008, and with the Atlanta tax law firm of Gomel & Davis, LLP from February 1989 through April 1999. Prior to practicing law, Greg worked as an accountant for the national CPA firms of Ernst & Whinney and Coopers & Lybrand. In addition, he has served as a co-owner and financial officer of Power Management, Inc. since 1995, and of W-T-E Development, LLC since 1999. Power Management, Inc. and W-T-E Development, LLC are private alternative energy firms that developed and financed over 30 energy projects in 14 states from 1995 to 2004.
