Gordon Fowler

Gordon E. Fowler

Gordon Fowler works with his clients to create individually tailored plans to accomplish their personal goals and to provide benefits for themselves, their families, and the people and organizations whom they care about. He brings to his practice an extensive background in business ownership, corporate management, securities and insurance, and probate court service, which gives him a unique and broad perspective for understanding the needs and desires of his clients, the challenges of asset protection, and the use of personal, business, and retirement assets to preserve and transfer wealth.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Fowler served as Staff Attorney for the Probate Court of DeKalb County, Georgia, where he served Judges Marion Guess, Jr. and Jeryl Rosh. While there he obtained a $30,000 grant from the State Justice Institute to establish a state-wide guardianship monitoring program under the auspices of the Administrative Office of the Courts of Georgia and the National Center for State Courts.

Prior to becoming an attorney he was the Director of Quality Assurance for John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods, one of the nation’s largest privately owned residential developer-builders. While at Wieland, he made policy, procedure, and production decisions to guide the company’s sixteen divisions and 2,500+ vendors and trade-contractors, directed the development of the company’s industry-leading warranty, and managed the company’s non-profit construction projects for major charitable organizations in Atlanta, among many other tasks.

A former investment adviser with Edward Jones, Mr. Fowler held a Series-7 securities license and is very knowledgeable about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, REIT’s, IRA’s, 401(k) plans, SEP plans, deferred compensation, 529 accounts for college education, insurance, and annuities. He also started and ran a furniture repair business for eight years before selling it to pursue other interests.
