George Gaskin is a member of Taylor English's Corporate & Business practice group and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance, commercial lending and providing general corporate advice.  He represents and advises companies in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, in secured and mezzanine lending transactions, and in general corporate and commercial matters. He also advises public companies on their reporting obligations under federal securities laws and national stock exchanges rules.

Prior to joining Taylor English in April 2006, Mr. Gaskin practiced law with McKenna Long & Aldridge, LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Atlanta, from January 2001 through March 2006. From 1990 through the end of 2000, he served in various capacities for Anacomp, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed document management company, with his last position being senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. Mr. Gaskin began his legal career in 1984 with Trotter, Smith & Jacobs, a nationally-recognized boutique law firm in Atlanta that specialized in securities and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.
