Diane Festin LaRoss is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. Ms. LaRoss has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation through trial and on appeal in both state and federal courts. Ms. LaRoss focuses upon general litigation including public and private contract litigation, construction litigation and government contracts consulting. She also represents public and private contractors, insurance companies and government entities.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Ms. LaRoss served as Counsel to Powell Goldstein, LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Atlanta, from November 1999 through January 2007, where she represented private contractors in bidding, defending, or challenging contracts with state and federal governments. While at Powell Goldstein, Ms. LaRoss managed multi-jurisdictional construction litigation and supervised a national litigation management program for a major retailer in the construction industry. Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, LLP, Ms. LaRoss served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia handling civil rights and professional liability claims against law enforcement personnel and represented the State in major tort litigation. Ms. LaRoss also has extensive experience in litigating insurance claims under various liability policies including automobile, property, municipal and police professional policies in private practice.
