Corey Cutter is an experienced litigator in Taylor English’s Employment, Labor & Immigration and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice groups. Her practice includes a variety of litigation in the areas of commercial/business disputes, employment law, insurance defense and coverage, consumer law, and covenant enforcement. Ms. Cutter has broad experience representing clients in both state and federal courts as well as in various alternative dispute resolution forums.
In the area of consumer law, Ms. Cutter served as national counsel for a Fortune 500 corporation in actions involving various tort, privacy and contract issues in relation to consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Litigation for this client entailed nationwide defense of individual claims in state and federal courts throughout the US.
In her commercial/business litigation practice, Ms. Cutter has handled to successful resolution various types of matters including cases involving trademarks, trade secrets, franchise law, restrictive covenants, negligent construction, as well as all manner of contract disputes. She has extensive experience in the management of complex, document-intensive cases, including coordination of large scale document productions in contract and tort disputes.
In the area of employment, Ms. Cutter litigates in defense of companies against claims relating to race, sex, age, national origin, religious and disability discrimination as well as harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge.
In addition, Ms. Cutter has experience in the area of real estate covenant enforcement and community association law. She has successfully represented both home owner associations and individuals in covenant enforcement disputes and litigation.
Ms. Cutter is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law and was Phi Beta Kappa at her undergraduate alma mater, Indiana University. She is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Illinois and Colorado.
