Chason Carroll is a member of the Intellectual Property Group. Mr. Carroll’s experience spans the breadth of intellectual property business and law with a special focus on the telecommunications, electronics, and financial services industries.
Mr. Carroll offers clients the benefit of over ten years of business and legal experience gained with Fortune 100 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups. Mr. Carroll counsels clients in a wide range of areas including, IP licensing, contractual IP issues, patent and trademark preparation and prosecution, IP best practices, invention protection, IP portfolio monetization, and strategic and day-to-day IP matters.
Mr. Carroll also actively participates in various community initiatives. He is a founding member and officer of the Georgia Tech Bar Association and serves on the Georgia State University College of Law Intellectual Property Advisory Board. Mr. Carroll also serves as chairman of the Corporate IP Institute.
Mr. Carroll is married and has two beautiful children. In his spare time he enjoys tennis and high-handicap golf.
